At Sylvania Veterinary Hospital we have a sophisticated and fully equipped hospital with the latest diagnostic technology, a well-stocked pharmaceutical store, and a team of animal-loving vets and nurses who are leaders in their field. We are an ASAV accredited small animal practice.

We have all types of fancy gadgets such as dental x-ray machine, digital DR x-ray, ultrasound machine and in-house IDEXX machines. 

We are looking for a Full-time Veterinary Nurse to join our amazing nursing team. However, will also consider part-time or casual nurses.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide effective support to veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including animal handling, IV catheter placement and blood collection.

• Maintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service at all times, treating every patient as if they were your own.

• Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital and kennel areas at all times.

• Assist with reception and administration tasks as required.

About you:

• Qualified veterinary nurse (Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing) with a minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience.

• Confidence in all areas of general practice nursing.

• A genuine love for animals and their people.

• A keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service at all times.
