Ready for the next step in your Vet Nurse career? Due to one of our fabulous Vet Nurses relocating to the North Island, we have an opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Nurse to join the team!
 
This role is full-time covering 40 hours per week, however we do have flexibility if you prefer less hours – just let us know!

Our well-equipped small animal clinic is in the beautiful suburb of Cashmere just 10 minutes from the Christchurch City Centre, nestled between the Port Hills and the Heathcote River. Cashmere offers the best of both worlds, enjoy a weekend brunch in a local café, enjoy the incredible views walking the local trails or soak up the sun and surf at nearby beaches.  
 
As a key member of our nursing team, you’ll:
  • Support our veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care – including surgical assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, blood collection, lab work, and patient handling
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and client service – treating every pet as if they were your own
  • Take part in nurse consults, nutritional planning, and client education
  • Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming clinic environment
 
About you:
  • A qualified Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years of clinical experience
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with ease
  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine love for animals – and their people!
