Job Summary
We’re hiring a hands-on, high-performance Manager of Business Development to lead and scale our BDR team consisting of 7-10 reps across EMEA and APAC. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Business Development and will be responsible for leading the team to create qualified meetings that convert to active pipeline for our EMEA & APAC sales teams.
You’ll be equal parts coach and operator—elevating skill sets through weekly coaching while diving deep into analytics, workflows, and process optimization. Your team will handle both inbound qualification and outbound pipeline creation, and you’ll build a disciplined, high-performing outbound engine that consistently delivers.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop BDRs across EMEA and APAC with a strong emphasis on weekly skills coaching
- Build a high-performance culture centered on phone excellence, objection handling, and outbound best practices
- Own both inbound lead management and outbound prospecting strategy
- Dive into analytics-conversion rates, funnel performance, activity metrics-and drive clear improvements
- Build and maintain scalable workflows, processes, and playbooks for predictable pipeline creation
- Partner closely with sales leaders, AEs, and marketing on target accounts, campaigns, and follow-up strategy
- Forecast pipeline generation and report on performance with accuracy
- Identify performance gaps early and coach decisively to close them
- Run daily and weekly rituals: team meetings, call coaching, outbound reviews, 1:1s, and skill-building sessions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to improve lead routing, messaging, scoring, and follow-up
- Ensure strong Salesforce hygiene and operational discipline across the team
Qualifications
- 2+ years managing BDR/SDR teams in SaaS, networking, security, or related tech
- Deep expertise in outbound prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, and high-quality messaging
- Proven success coaching BDRs through role-plays, call reviews, and skill development
- Strong operational acumen across analytics, reporting, workflows, and process optimization
- Experience overseeing both inbound and outbound motions across multiple regions
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional leaders (Sales, AEs, Marketing, RevOps)
- Comfort supporting a distributed, multi-time-zone team
- A proactive, high-ownership mindset and a bias toward building structure and clarity
