Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking askilled Lead SETA to support an innovative program office. As the Lead SETA, you will play a critical role in driving program execution by actively tracking and managing budget, schedule, technical performance, deliverables, and program risks. You will bring exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities, along with the ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar technical areas and translate complex information into actionable insights for the Program Manager. You will serve as a central point of coordination among program, performers, transition partners, and other government stakeholders. You will lead program assessments, evaluate performer progress and projected outcomes, identify technical and programmatic risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure effective program management practices are followed throughout the program. Travel:  Less than 10%

 

Clearance: Current TS Clearance required

 

Required Experience:

 

  • 5 years of program management experience supporting complex technical, engineering, research, development, or acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical areas and develop sufficient technical understanding to support broad program objectives.
  • Experience tracking program progress against goals, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and/or budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and assess programmatic and technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter while also effectively leading and supporting team activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment.

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Experience supporting space technology development programs, including the design, development, integration, testing, launch, and/or operation of space systems.
  • Education or professional experience in one or more of the following:
  1. Astrodynamics
  2. Solar sail technology
  3. Space propulsion development
  4. Space launch coordination and planning
  5. Space operations
  6. Hardware testing
  7. Space-based communications
  8. Space-based Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT)
  9. Control systems
  10. Space Situational Awareness (SSA)
  11. Space-to-space imaging technology
  12. Space system development
  • Experience leading or supporting advanced research and development programs at the performer level.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly gain insight into current and next-generation research and technology topics.
  • Experience working with or supporting relevant program transition partners, including organizations within U.S. Space Force, NASA, and/or U.S. Air Force.
  • Prior experience supporting research and development programs as a technical and/or program management support contractor.
  • Knowledge of program processes and procedures.
  • Experience coordinating technical reviews, program assessments, testing, demonstrations, site visits, or technology transition activities.
  • Experience with program cost estimation, technology transition, technical risk management, and/or independent verification and validation activities.

 

 

 

The expected salary range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range. In addition to base pay, Ventus offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), ESOP participation, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
