Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance diverse software systems, from real-time applications to large-scale data processing solutions. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to design, implement, and test mission-critical software solutions. The candidate will design, develop and enhance advanced software systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with system engineers, analyst and program stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure and scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment. Work Location: 80% Onsite: Alexandria, VA
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Flask for REST API and web development.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and teamwork capability.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.
Desired Experience:
- Active Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or AWS GovCloud).
- AWS or Data Engineer certifications
