What You Will Do:
The RHC Medical Director provides medical direction for the clinic’s health care activities and consultation for, and medical supervision of the health care staff. Supervises Nurse Practitioners.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Education as required by the VH credentialing for active staff. Must complete Continuing Medical Education every two years as required by VH credentialing.
Certification & Licensures
Must be a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia, with a current DEA certificate. Board certification as required by the PMH Bylaws.
Qualifications
• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients in his or her practice. • Must be able to demonstrate visual ability to perceive changes in patients’ skin color, and color of medicines and solutions. • Must be able to demonstrate good hearing for ability to distinguish differences in heartbeat and breathing rhythms of patients. • Must possess good leadership abilities. • Must possess good communication skills. • Must possess the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others. • Must have the ability to triage multiple problems and work effectively under stress.
