Tribalco is actively seeking a Spectrum Management Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. The Spectrum Management Specialist is part of an integrated Customer Support team responsible for providing the ARMY IT Portfolio of Services to organizations and users serviced by the Network Enterprise Center – Kwajalein (NEC-KA). The NEC-KA is located on an Army Garrison in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. This position reports to the Deputy Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with United States Government and non-Government offices and personnel to support US Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA) radio frequency (RF) operations
- Investigate Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) using specialized RF surveillance and analysis tools. Provide recommendations to resolve or mitigate interference
- Support range customers in procuring Radio Frequency Authorizations (RFA) through the Radio Frequency Proposal process.
- Provide technical analysis and study of Radio Frequency Assignment
- Identify frequency conflicts and coordinate mitigation of friendly interference
- Assist users in generating and/or updating DD 1494 documents.
- Analyze technical data of RF systems and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and suitable site selection.
- Other related duties, including providing briefings on task activities upon request.
- Facilitate close coordination, communication and partnership with NEC-KA teammates, the Regional NEC–Hawaii and RCCP
- Provide exceptional support for internal customers and end-users of the NEC-KA
- Document work performed and customer communications in the Remedy ticketing system
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Certifications:
- 5+ Years of Spectrum Management experience
- Graduate of the NTIA Spectrum Management Course or equivalent coursework or training OR Spectrum Operations Apprentice Course (SOAC) (Keesler, AFB) OR Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (ESM) course (Ft. Gordon)
Security Clearance/Background
- Position requires that candidate possess a Secret security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position
- US Citizenship is typically required for a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to relocate and reside at the U.S. Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (USAG-KA). You must meet current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19 to enter the Republic of the Marshall Islands
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport
- Pre-employment health screening is required due to remote location and limited medical and dental capabilities on the island
- Ability to ride a bicycle or walk at least 2 miles to/from work daily. There are no personally owned vehicles allowed on USAG-KA. Transportation is primarily by bicycle.
- Ability to travel by plane or small sea going vessel between working locations.
- May be required to work overtime
- Rotational call back and emergency duty are requirements of this position
