Tribalco seeks a motivated individual for the Network Analyst / Cross Domain and Firewall Administrator position to support our DOD customer’s enclosed coalition network. This position will perform Cybersecurity designated and appointed roles and actions involving secure configuration compliance validation via government-designated tools and resources, including enclave security administration, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) / Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) or integrated service in next-generation firewall administration, enterprise endpoint security administration, CDS administration, Risk Management Framework (RMF) input, product generation, support, scans, checks and configuration management administration and government designated support to preparation and inspection by the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) compliance as determined by the government guidance and directives and applicable governance. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for a range of duties critical to maintaining the security posture of our network.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current network diagrams for all Firewall and Cross Domain Solution (CDS).
- Control all variables and allocations e.g., IP Addresses, Firewall configurations, VRFs, process IDs, etc.
- Identify and communicate firewall security requirements to the Information Security and Computer Network Defense (CND) Teams.
- Perform Cybersecurity actions IAW official government guidelines and directives, which currently include but are not limited to Information Assurance
- Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) guidelines, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- In-depth protocol analysis, with tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, SolarWinds
- Cisco Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) BGP routing, (Border Gateway Protocol), Dynamic Multi-Point Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), extensive knowledge of DoD security architectures
Education and Certifications
- Bachelors and seven (7) years or more related experience; Masters and five (5) years or more related experience; High School diploma and eleven (11) years or more related experience.
- Must meet DoD 8140 Certification Requirements for Boundary Security Network Technician Intermediate OR Advanced level.
- Foundational Certificate: SecurityX (intermediate) OR CISSP (advanced)
- Must have a Computing Environment Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security (Preferred) OR CCNP Enterprise; GIAC Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW)
- Current ITIL Foundations (may be able to obtain within 30-90 days)
Clearance
- Position requires that the candidate possess a Top Secret (T5) security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
- US Citizenship is typically required for a security clearance.
