Description

Tribalco is seeking OCONUS Lead Engineer to join our team. The Lead Engineer will be the subject matter expert in the areas of TR, ISP, OSP, AV/VTC.  The engineer needs multiple years’ experience with design, implementation, and testing.  This individual will provide architecture governance, solution designs, and estimates; implementation of solution, and manage open issues and risks for projects/initiatives related to product integration.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define each project’s vision, objectives, and road map.
• Define the end-to-end product integration architecture best suited for the customer.
• Work closely with development team(s) to ensure that technical guidelines are clearly communicated and that all technical questions are sufficiently answered with clear action items assignment.
• Test any changes of existing solutions as well as new offerings prior to promoting to production.
• Provide regular status reports to regarding project risks/mitigation to senior management.
• Test software designs and solutions and prepare environment migration documentation.
• Design and size technical solutions for individual projects as part of the master schedule.
• Define non-functional requirements for capacity, reliability, performance, and security.
• Define standards and guidelines that align and leverage other enterprise standards and policies.
• Provide input to improve and refine enterprise standards and policies and develop Architecture Principles.
• Perform architecture/design reviews for client’s IT, infrastructure, security and audit teams to ensure adherence to standards, information risk management policies, and component re-use.
• Provide guidance on effective, efficient software development practices and procedures, including the use of tools/technology.
• Provide support for complex production issues.

• Location of duty will be majority in Germany

Education, Requirements and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• Twelve (12) years' experience in implementing IT systems of a similar scope and complexity.
• Professional relevant IT certifications.
• DoD Project experience.

Clearance

• Active SECRET Clearance OR
• Inactive security clearance with the ability to reactivate.
