Responsibilities
- Develops strategic and tactical plans for risk management and establishes the governance framework for information security to provide assurance that information security strategies are consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identifies key security initiatives and programs through a risk-based approach.
- Advises management on the impact of the organization’s key risks.
- Assess the effectiveness of the measures against security risk management plan.
- Prepare information security performance report based on results from analysis and correlation of information security events.
- Provide vulnerability assessment support, to include risk analysis of vulnerabilities, threats, and the impact of losing systems' capabilities on the mission objective; recommend decisions to implement security countermeasures or mitigate risk; implement approved countermeasures; and perform periodic reviews.

Education, Requirements and Certifications
- A Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or equivalent experience
- Meets or exceeds DOD 8570.01-M IAM III requirements
- Ten (10) years' experience managing cybersecurity projects or systems of a similar scope and complexity including three (3) years' experience managing DoD RMF and/or systems
Clearance
- Active SECRET Clearance OR
- Inactive security clearance with the ability to reactivate.
