Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Desired Skills
- 10 years’ experience managing facility modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity including three (3) years’ experience managing projects within the administrative and logistical constraints of the DoD OCONUS/Europe AOR.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
- Experienced with installation, testing, documenting, maintaining, repairing, and integrating Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system for initiatives and programs in Europe, Central Asia.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management/Business, or equivalent
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or an equivalent certification
- Master’s degree in related field and 10 years of technical experience, preferred
Clearance
- Active SECRET Clearance OR
- Inactive security clearance with the ability to reactivate.
