Job Description

Employment Type: Fulltime/Contract | Contract 6 to 12 months + Possibility of extension |
Work location: Remote/Onsite (mention no. of Onsite days) | Onsite – 2 days a week / 3 days remote @ Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. |
About the Role | Trianz is looking for a Data Modeler who has experience in designing, developing, and deploying database models for application development to support business applications. |
Job Responsibilities | · Design, develop and deploy database models for application development to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability. · Perform data analysis and data modeling for operational applications and analytical databases. · Be responsible for data classification, naming, design of the database, and the creation of DDL. · Provide technical consulting for application teams for data naming, classification, design and handling as a part of the first line of defense for data controls in designing systems. · Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, team processes and functions. · Meet with client as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results. · Take accountability to complete work on time and raise blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met. · Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence. · Based on past and current client execution, work with peers to lead in the development of point of views, new solutions, accelerators that will assist in driving results. · Using your experience, provide leadership and guidance as needed with building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients. |
Required Skills | · 12+ years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, or related work. · Hands on experience with Erwin · Experience with databases and SQL · Experience with dimensional modeling · Understanding of data modeling best practices · Full lifecycle experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies · Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity. |
Required Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. |
Required Experience | Minimum 12 plus years of experience in data Analysis and data Manipulation. |
