The Compensation Specialist supports the administration of Torrid’s pay programs – helping ensure every detail is accurate, ever process runs smoothly, and every decision is backed by data.  
 
What You’ll Do:
 
  • Maintain and update job descriptions, pay ranges, and position data.
  • Prepare and validate data for compensation surveys and market benchmarking.
  • Support annual merit and quarterly and annual bonus processes.
  • Responsible for monthly store bonus processes.
  • Create standard reports and spreadsheets to support compensation requests.
  • Assist with cost and pay analysis projects under the guidance of the Lead Compensation Analyst to support data-driven pay decisions.
  • Research pay data and assist with job evaluations and new role requests.
  • Ensure compliance with Torrid’s pay policies and wage and hour regulations.
  • Partner with HR and other business partners to provide pay range information and process guidance.
  • Document compensation procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  
 
What You’ll Need:  
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of HR, payroll, or compensation experience (related internship or entry-level HR experience welcome).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP; eager to learn compensation systems and analytics.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers.
  • Positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic about building a career in HR and Total Rewards.

Salary range: $70,000 – $77,000/year
