Facilities Maintenance Senior Supervisor
Description
- Dedicated to supporting maintenance technicians by working in a safe, customer-focused manner; and must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
- Develop and design solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies.
- Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and maintenance goals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and good working relationship with operations.
- Provide enriched feedback to enhance maintenance and utility technician’s individual performance, provide associates with written performance appraisals including discipline and up to termination.
- Mentor all maintenance and utility technicians by motivating and providing direction to help them achieve their goals and make a consistent effort to go above and beyond.
- Assist Manager in Project planning and cost analysis
- Promotes and conducts good housekeeping.
- Responsible for adherence to Company training programs.
- Ensure conformity and implementation of standards across the Maintenance Team.
- Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by the Facilities Manager from time to time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- 6-8 years of experience and knowledge of sortation and material handling equipment and control devices.
- 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance Supervisory role.
- Knowledge base SME on matters surrounding CMMS, MHE systems, forklift/PIV equipment, certification in PLC systems.
- Strong organizational, time management skills and ability to plan and execute multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience and knowledge of HVAC equipment (service and maintenance) electrical experience and certification.

- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift/move up to 10 pounds. May lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
