A successful candidate will be a person who loves accounting and the deep dive into small discrepancies. Enjoys finding the entry that delays close and researches how to fix the issue intuitively. Thinks analytically about how to improve processes such as expenditure trends and execute the routine banking activities or letters of credit ect.
In this role you will apply your keen financial knowledge to analyze, prep and post entries in the general ledger. Each month apply focus on the timely execution of close cycles and review processes taking special care to detect, research and resolve reconciliation issues. You will work collaboratively to prepare SEC filings and create cash flow statements and recommend budget level ensuring expenditure control. As a key team member, you will support he reinsurance claims reimbursement requests and monthly billings to non- U.S. subsidiaries. Additionally, each week you will have the opportunity to support the business and gain additional experience through various related tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field. Equivalent education or experience will be considered
- CPA or CPA eligible is preferred but not required
- Apply GAAP or Statutory Accounting Principles to daily work with limited direction
- Use of MS Office to complete daily tasks and reports
- Exercise the ability to organize competing priorities and complete urgent tasks with accuracy.
