Job Summary
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of primarily routine tasks associated with the policy issuance department.
Key Responsibilities
·         Assigns Policy Number in PA Contracts for new groups multiple times per day.
·         Binds MSL and OT groups multiple times per day.
·         E-mails daily binder list to all required parties every morning.
·         E-mail the UR Transmittal Form for UR Vendors that submit electronic pre-certs when binding.
·         Process all non-renewals upon notification from the Underwriter/Sales Administrator
·         Follow up on all outstanding requirements after policy has been issued.
·         Follow up with region office on outstanding amendments.
·         Process Policyholder name changes after issuance.
·         E-mail mid-month letters to Producers for new account policyholder letters.
·         Distributes daily mail.
·         Assists Policy Issuance staff as necessary. This includes but is not limited to pre-audits and plan documents.
·         Complete projects and other duties as assigned by Manager.
·         Maintenance of good attendance is a condition of employment and an essential function of your job.
Education
·         Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Experience
·         2 years relevant and progressive experience in Underwriting
Other
·         Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
·         Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
·         Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
·         Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

·         Close vision and ability to adjust focus, such as required to read a computer screen
