TMHCC Stop Loss, a $2 Billion division within TMHCC, leads the way in providing medical stop loss insurance sold to employers. Medical Stop Loss provides an added layer of insurance protection to employers who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding can incur risks from catastrophic claims, and Medical Stop Loss insurance from Tokio Marine HCC is designed to protect employers from that risk.  
  
About the Role:  
Reporting to the Regional Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for the building and managing of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness analysis, sales incentive plans, and distribution and channel strategy. You will drive sales growth and profitability by providing executive leadership for all marketing activities across our regional Medical Stop Loss business.  
  
Key Responsibilities:  
  
  • Develop strategies and tactics to grow existing and new markets
  • Implement local marketing strategies to promote products, including packaging strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sand and manufacturing forecasts; continually track progress against what we want to achieve and how much we will spend and earn monthly, quarterly and yearly
  • Lead the marketing and sales teams to deliver exceptional service, stand out from our competitors and track results
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to identify market opportunities
  • Define and direct marketing campaigns for demand creation, lead generation and for lead tracking and management
  • Develop and manage the entire marketing & sales budget
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
  • Act as sales force support; manage questions and demands from the Sales, Claims, and Underwriting group.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements  
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 12 years relevant and progressive experience in Medical Stop Loss
  • 8 years spent in a leadership capacity
  • Possess and have ability to apply advanced knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
  • Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
