TMHCC has recently created its Enterprise Change function and we are now looking for a high calibre, ambitious and driven lead to head up the Centre of Excellence for our enterprise change project managers and to create and run the Community of Practice for all project managers working in the TMHCC business.

Role Purpose: Project management is a core part of the enterprise change capability model.  We are now ready to establish both a Centre of Excellence and Community of Practice for project management.  We are searching for a project professional to lead the maturity of the practice and lead the Enterprise Change Project Managers.

This role is the figurehead for Project Management and will champion and represent the practice in a number of ways.  Whilst this is a leadership role that requires a mix of matrix and line management, there will be elements of the role that require you to bring your project management skills to the fore to focus on the right priorities, empower teams and deliver change.

Specifically, this role is to:

• Manage the Enterprise Change Project Management function and lead the Project Managers within it
• Line management of Enterprise Change Project Managers to include development goals and performance reviews
• Assess the demand, then source and supply Project Management capacity working with internal teams, delivery partners and preferred suppliers
• Work to improve the flexibility of our sourcing solution whilst driving quality in delivery
• Provide senior level oversight and assurance on project management activities within Enterprise Change delivery
• Develop the career and development pathways for the Project Management practice as part of the Community of Practice
• Create mentoring, coaching and buddying relationships for Project Managers throughout the business
• Create the support network to enable Project Managers from across the business to drive continuous improvement, sharing information, leverage established and emerging techniques, considering multiple channels to reach the Community of Practice
• Mature good practice for the Project Management function including defining a repeatable framework, full service catalogue, templates and tooling
• Support the maturity of the Enterprise Change Framework through definition and assessment of when project management should apply to change initiatives
• Establish good practice and advise on scalable solutions that are fit for the type of change in conjunction with the Enterprise PMO, business and product teams

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Multiple change methodology experience, particularly within both project and product teams
• Demonstrable experience working as a senior project professional within the insurance industry
• Understanding of regulatory landscape within which an insurance company operates
• Experience of developing capability and maturity models within project management
