Not your regular health or auto insurance – We have an exciting opportunity for a Contingency Administrative Assistant in our Wakefield, MA office. The types of contingency insurance you will work on include weather and prize insurance products.

Performance Objectives:

 

  • Within the first 30 days, learn how to process new submissions received, including: assigning quote numbers, inputting risk data, issuing binders, policies and endorsements, and tasking to the appropriate underwriter.
  • During the first 60 days, manage monthly renewal solicitations by reaching out to brokers for renewal data. May also assist underwriters in the preparation of risk profiles and quote letters.
  • During the first 90 days, become fully acquainted with the products, develop an understanding of Weather and Prize Indemnity coverage, policies, and endorsements.
  • On an ongoing basis, help underwriters in the preparation of risk profiles, quote letters, binders, and other tasks, as needed.

 

Your Background:

 

  • An associate degree in business administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Two years of relevant and progressive office/clerical experience, or equivalent education
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to proficiently navigate Microsoft 365 and learn new systems quickly
