About the Role:    
Under immediate supervision, analyzes and documents current systems functions and recommends changes to existing applications or interfaces. Provides recommendations related to implementation, reporting and analysis. Partners with internal/external customers and Information Technology for testing and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices. Supports users on existing information systems.  
  
Key Responsibilities:    
  • Understands business requirements, functional design, system specifications, business processes, and flow charts
  • Document business and systems process requirements to create user-friendly training manuals describing process and data flow, program installation, and operating procedures.
  • Improve the quality of data by assisting programmers and program analysts in system acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones by designing integration interfaces and their specifications
  • Create System Specifications Documents and Business Requirements Documents for the proposed applications/systems
  • Utilize Business Process Catalog, Interface Catalog, user guides, etc. to prepare documentation to capture the essence of applications
  • Create appropriate documentation like Process Catalog, System Catalog, and SIPOC to convey the impact of changes in applications
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study and understand system capabilities and how they affect the business processes
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, and decompose high-level information into details
  • Act as user liaison to resolve system issues and write reports according to user or management requests.
  • Create moderately complex reports to support business users and management requests.

  

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements   

  • 0-2 years of experience as an analyst
  • Aptitude for analytics with eagerness to work in different domains- financial, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, or manufacturing
  • Outstanding skills in MS suite- Visio, Access, Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
  • Not mandatory but nice to have exposure to: ServiceNow, and Atlassian Jira
