Associate Director, Business Development
Location: Remote (anywhere in the US) or based at any IMA office
IMA Clinical Research is a national leader in Phase II–IV clinical trials, with 650+ studies completed and partnerships with 100+ sponsors across multiple therapeutic areas. We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to help us grow.
As Associate Director, Business Development, you'll identify, build, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO organizations—driving new business across site-based, hybrid, and fully decentralized clinical trials.
What You'll Do
- Drive lead generation through cold outreach and client engagement
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Represent IMA at industry conferences
- Keep CRM records accurate and current
- Build lasting client relationships through proactive account management
- Contribute to weekly Business Development strategy meetings
What You Bring
- BS/BA in business, life sciences, or a related field
- 1+ years of sales experience in clinical research, site networks, CROs, or pharma
- A track record of initiating and closing sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good to Know
This role involves occasional travel (~10%) within North America and regular video/in-person client interaction.
