Looking for a way to build hands-on clinical experience around your class schedule or day job? IMA Clinical Research is hiring an Evening Clinical Research Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist) to support patients through clinical trials — a great fit for med techs, phlebotomy-certified techs, or nursing students who want real patient-care hours that don't conflict with daytime classes or clinicals.
Schedule
- 3–4 evening shifts per week, 6:00 PM – Midnight
- Occasional weekend shifts
- A predictable evening block that pairs well with morning/afternoon coursework or clinical rotations
- Must be available and flexible to meet study needs
What You'll Do
- Welcome and guide patients through their clinical trial visits
- Collect vitals, EKGs, and patient interview data
- Perform phlebotomy and process lab specimens accurately
- Support scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Partner with study teams to keep trials running smoothly and on schedule
What You Bring
- High school diploma (required)
- Enrolled in or completed a nursing, med tech, or medical assisting program — OR 6+ months of medical office experience
- Phlebotomy experience or certification a plus (great opportunity to grow this skill)
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuine patient-first mindset
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Flexibility for evening and occasional weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation for the midnight shift end
