The IMA Group is looking for a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant to join our Albany team. You’ll work alongside skilled clinicians, helping deliver thorough medical evaluations while making a real difference for every patient who walks through our doors. Starting pay is $18.50/hour with a full benefits package from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Support providers during patient evaluations and exams
• Take vital signs and medical histories to prepare patients
• Perform clinical procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs
• Maintain medical records and respond to patient inquiries
• Keep equipment and supplies organized and stocked

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (MA program preferred)
• Healthcare experience; MA certification is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong interpersonal skills
• A compassionate, detail-oriented approach
• Flexibility and excellent attendance, which are essential to our team
• Willingness to travel to our Poughkeepsie location at times

Schedule
Rotating hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays. No on-call duties, so when you’re home, you’re home.
