Job Summary:   
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Rater to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will administer clinical efficacy scales to subjects with various psychiatric diagnoses, perform diagnostic evaluations, and determine eligibility for research trials. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and make a meaningful impact in the field of psychiatry.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and perform clinical efficacy scales for psychiatric indications.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and determine eligibility for research trials based on prescreening assessments.
  • Follow Sponsor or protocol-specific requirements and internal SOPs while interacting professionally with Sponsors, Study Monitors, and Medical Monitors.
  • Complete sponsor-assigned training and obtain rater certification on specified scales, attending all required investigator meetings and conferences.
  • Support clinical research staff with operations, including assisting Clinical Research Coordinators and managing logistics vendors.
  • Travel to other locations as needed, and perform other related duties, including working hours necessary for task completion.
 
Education and Experience: 
  • 5-7+ years in clinical research operations or clinical care, with management experience highly preferred.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s minimum, MD/PhD preferred) with 2+ years of experience in psychiatric populations and psychiatric assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare system, patient visit flow, and logistics management for clinical research.
