Job Title: Traveling Psychologist – Specializing in Diagnostic Assessments

Location: Bronx or Queens, with 35-50% travel to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Hartsdale, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $130K-$150K plus productivity bonus incentives

About the Role: IMA is looking for a Psychologist who enjoys the opportunity to travel.   This position will be based in our Bronx or Queens office with opportunities to travel to nearby local offices.  IMA provides tax free mileage reimbursement.   This position centers on performing detailed psychological evaluations at IMA office sites throughout the Downstate areas of New York State. Our providers make a difference every day by working closely with a diverse clientele, including veterans and underemployed/disabled individuals seeking benefits or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned locations to perform psychological assessments.  Travel schedule is flexible to support your work-life balance.
  • Conduct thorough mental status evaluations, including interviews, behavioral observations, and cognitive ability assessments.
  • Interpret assessment data and create a narrative report with your findings.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Psychology license in NYS.
  • Proven experience in psychological testing and assessment.
  • Ability to travel extensively by car.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
