No Nights. No Weekends. No On-Call. No Follow-Up Care.
Are you an NP looking to step away from the demands of traditional patient care while still making a meaningful difference for Veterans? The IMA Group has an opening in Watertown, NY for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct Occupational Health & Disability evaluations on behalf of the VA.
This is a part-time position — 3 to 4 days per week — built for providers who want predictable hours, no prescribing or treatment responsibilities, and zero on-call burden.
What Makes This Role Different:
- Set schedule of 3–4 days weekly — no nights or weekend shifts
- Purely evaluative work — no ongoing treatment, prescribing, or patient follow-up
- No on-call rotation
- Annual compensation prorated to schedule: roughly $66,000–$72,000 for 3 days/week or $88,000–$96,000 for 4 days/week
- Administrative and documentation support provided
- Direct, purpose-driven work supporting the Veteran community
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Conduct VA Occupational Health & Disability assessments in Watertown, NY
- Examine medical histories and supporting clinical records
- Draft clear, accurate, and timely evaluation reports
- Ensure documentation meets objectivity and accuracy standards
What You'll Need:
- Active New York NP license
- Ability to satisfy VA credentialing requirements for Occupational Health & Disability exams
- Solid clinical evaluation and report-writing skills
