Job Summary:
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to play a pivotal leadership role in our Morgantown, WV site! This position involves engaging with clinical trial participants, ensuring a continuous and meaningful informed consent process, and conducting study exams and visit procedures. The role may include functioning as a Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) and/or Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Participant Engagement and Clinical Trial Conduct: Engage with clinical trial participants, ensure a meaningful informed consent process, evaluate, and screen potential subjects, supervise participants, conduct patient visits, and perform study exams as required by the protocol. Oversee and participate in daily clinical research operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete all required documentation, both paper and electronic, as per protocol. Maintain and review case report forms in accordance with FDA guidelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Evaluate and report safety incidents, protocol noncompliance, and other protocol-specific issues.
- Coordination and Quality Assurance: Facilitate the timely completion of all operational aspects of clinical research studies, including screening, consenting, enrolling, paying, and retaining participants. Coordinate study visits, data collection, and maintenance of study records, ensuring participant safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration, Communication, and Professional Standards: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers and stakeholders, including study sponsors. Collaborate with leadership and principal investigators on new initiatives and studies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of Clinical Research experience is preferred.
- Prior clinical experience in healthcare settings with proficiency in clinical tests and IV procedures.
