We are currently seeking experienced Field Nurse Case Managers (RN) in the Orlando area to support workers’ compensation cases on a flexible 1099 basis.

Position Overview

As a Field Nurse Case Manager, you will coordinate medical care for injured workers while serving as a liaison between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys. Your goal is to help ensure appropriate treatment, promote recovery, and support safe return-to-work outcomes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans for injured workers
Attend medical appointments and assess treatment progression
Communicate with providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers
Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
Evaluate medical necessity and appropriateness of care
Assist with return-to-work planning and transitional duty coordination
Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations as needed

Qualifications

Active Florida RN license
Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
Proficient with technology and electronic documentation
Reliable transportation for local travel throughout Orlando and surrounding areas
Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain
CCM, CRRN, or related certifications are a plus
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
