Responsibilities:
- Provide medical case management for workers’ compensation cases
- Coordinate care with physicians, providers, employers, adjusters, attorneys, and insurance carriers
- Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness
- Attend medical appointments and communicate updates to all stakeholders
- Facilitate Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and job site assessments as needed
- Monitor patient progress and assist with return-to-work planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Registered Certified Rehab Supplier with the State of Georgia
- Minimum 3 years of workers’ compensation case management experience
- Strong documentation and computer skills
- Professional liability/malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation for local travel
- Personal computer and phone access
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages)
