Job Summary: 
The IMA Group is seeking a Medical Scribe to enhance the accuracy and quality of our medical documentation. This role involves supporting the completion of exam history forms and assisting claimants in this process. The position requires interactions with claimants to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of their medical history, as well as various administrative and communication tasks to maintain efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Claimant Interaction: Make reminder calls to claimants, assist them in completing history forms, guide them through data entry into the portal, and respond to related emails.
  • Documentation: Accurately document claimant medical history obtained via phone or in-person, input data into the database, and ensure timely completion of medical records.
  • Scribe Duties: Perform real-time documentation of patient encounters, assist with charting, coding, and other documentation tasks, maintaining proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems.
  • Compliance: Follow and enforce company policies, SOPs, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements, adhere to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines, and maintain confidentiality of personal and corporate data.
  • Teamwork and Culture: Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and respect among all employees, and engage positively with team members to support a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience, medical scribe experience is preferred
