Job Summary:  

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant with phlebotomy experience to become a valued member of our team. Your role will encompass supporting front desk/administrative functions, as well as engaging with patients involved in clinical trials, making your contributions essential!   

Salary for this position is around $19-$21 an hour.

Responsibilities:  

  • Support study coordinators with administrative tasks and manage patient visit scheduling as per protocol requirements.
  • Conduct vital data collection tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, patient interviews, and medical record reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for regulatory submissions and reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform phlebotomy and manage lab specimen collection, processing, and shipping according to trial protocols.
  • Efficiently handle research office calls, providing necessary assistance and triaging inquiries.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Clinical Research Team, exhibiting professionalism and strong communication skills.

   

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferably one year of experience as a medical assistant with phlebotomy; minimum 6 months' experience in a medical office setting or equivalent work.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. 
  • Preferred background in Clinical Research or medical field.
  • Proficiency in lab draws including phlebotomy, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), CRIO (preferred), and research-related databases. Willingness to learn lab specimen processing procedures with a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills.
