Clinical Research Assistant (Phlebotomy & Front Desk Duties)

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant with phlebotomy experience to support both patient-facing clinical tasks and front desk operations. This role is essential to the success of our clinical trials and offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations: greet patients, answer and triage calls, and assist with scheduling
  • Support Study Coordinators with administrative tasks and documentation
  • Collect clinical data: vital signs, EKGs, patient interviews, and chart reviews
  • Perform phlebotomy and handle lab specimen collection, processing, and shipping
  • Collaborate effectively with the Clinical Research team, maintaining professionalism and strong communication

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Preferred: 1+ year as a Medical Assistant or 6+ months in a medical office
  • Background in clinical research or healthcare preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; CRIO or research database experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn lab and research procedures
