Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Medical Evaluations | Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities

Pennsylvania (Forty Fort & Williamsport)

The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Veteran evaluation team in Pennsylvania. This position focuses on conducting medical assessments for Veterans and completing comprehensive clinical documentation in support of the VA disability benefits process.

We are currently hiring for a full-time provider who can travel between our Forty Fort office (3 days per week) and Williamsport office (2 days per week). Providers in this role may also have the opportunity to receive cross-training for Department of Corrections (DOC) evaluations.

For candidates who prefer not to travel, we are open to discussing a part-time opportunity based exclusively in Forty Fort.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans
  • Review medical records, health histories, and supporting documentation
  • Perform physical assessments and document objective clinical findings
  • Complete electronic examination reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Adhere to established VA examination guidelines and quality standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient operations

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • At least one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong physical assessment and documentation skills
  • Experience in family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or related specialties is beneficial
  • Ability to travel between Williamsport and Forty Fort for full-time positions
