Description

We’re looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to use their expertise in designing, deploying and managing demand generation and nurture programs for a global B2B tech company. The candidate will have the ability to craft and evolve the overall programs strategy while getting involved in executing the components necessary to launch, scale and measure those programs. 

 

This role will partner closely with Sales leadership on the customer acquisition strategy and operational marketing plan to deliver on pipeline and revenue targets. This leadership position oversees global demand gen campaigns and pipeline driving activities across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. This role will put the marketing strategy into action by managing the execution of the “game plan” and overall campaign strategy that supports content promotion, retargeting, and existing client retention, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and net new client acquisition.

This role will lead a team as well as work with cross-functional groups within the organization. 

 

Focus will be around building tailored programs to upsell our existing user base and go after net new accounts. You will be responsible for supporting our evolved sales-led motions, by designing, building and operating efforts that translate into pipeline, driving higher deal size, better deal velocity and conversion across the funnel.

You have a passion for data and the ability to optimize efforts to uncover and engage qualified accounts and contacts that sales can engage as new clients or upsell opportunities across business units. You are experienced in building account-centric (ABM) programs to multiple personas in an organization, and working closely with sales leaders to ensure processes and measurement support that.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Be the single-threaded owner of our pipeline efforts to support sales motions across the org and build a team from scratch.
  • Own the conception, execution, and optimization of SWZD’s demand generation and overall growth marketing strategy
    • Determine focus areas and key themes
    • Oversee and organize the workflow of the team
    • Provide guidance on prioritization of activities
    • QA, editing, and review cycles
  • Partner with the product/marketing teams to develop compelling copy for emails, ads, and other written content
  • Drive targeted demand efforts for each of our sales segments (Growth, Enterprise, EMEA/APAC) through omni-channel personalized experiences to core personas
  • Collaborate with broader Marketing team to determine the best campaign plan and support for events and other activities
  • Advise on and manage budgets to meet SWZD’s growth goals while delivering maximum return on investment
  • Continually research, recommend, and evaluate new channels and tools
  • Partner with revenue operations to ensure programs are tracked for ongoing, detailed analysis and actionable insights
  • Work with internal data SMEs to determine in-house intent use cases, data marketing places, and review sites; matching pixel accounts to current rep/BDR assignments, retargeting and TAL audience extension, closed loop reporting
  • Partner with the Ops team to collect and interpret insights to guide campaigns, maximize engagement, and make data-backed recommendations.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Measure impact across campaign channels to inform recommendations.
  • Work closely with senior sales leadership and team leads across the organization to understand business objectives and translate those into impactful programs that achieve desired outcomes
  • Assist with integrated internal communication plans and ad hoc projects as needed

 

We'll expect you to have:

  • At least 10-12 years of hands-on demand generation or digital marketing experience, ideally with a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company
  • In-depth knowledge of running B2B integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast pace, and changing priorities
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • You must have demonstrable people-management skills
  • A data-driven proposal and decision-making mindset and organized planning, execution and tracking
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools (Marketo preferred) and Salesforce
  • You must be able to clearly and concisely rationalize and articulate recommendations and provide the “why” in business terms
  • Ability to keep sight of the “big picture” while maintaining a focus on details to make data-driven optimizations
  • Strong ability to gather input and establish alignment between a large number of senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of getting large global programs successfully implemented delivering results
  • Strong analytical skills to draw conclusions and make business decisions
  • Familiarity with Account-based marketing technology and processes (ex. 6sense, Demandbase)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with effective listening and a strong collaborative attitude
  • Well-versed in email best-practices and compliance.
