Reporting to the Manager of Aviation, Accounting, the Accountant will be involved in full cycle of
accounting, including but not limited to A/R, A/P, General ledger Accounting, Month end close, year
end close. They will work in close collaboration with our operation team and Aviation leadership team.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review transactions including A/P and A/R for accuracy and completeness.
· Prepare and Post journal entries to the financial system.
· Calculate monthly accruals and adjustments.
· Coordinates month-end, quarter and year-end closing activities, supports and collaborates with internal departments and our external partners to compile accurate financial statements.
· Maintaining the GL and reconciliation of all accounts (including monthly bank reconciliation)
· Perform the variance analysis.
· Compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
· Assist with annual financial auditing, provides audit samples, working papers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
· Post-secondary education with enrollment in a professional accounting program plus two to
three years’ related work experience.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel.
· Attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to develop relationships with partners and stakeholders.
· NetSuite by Oracle experience is an asset.
