Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • SRSMG is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife for per diem coverage (both day and night shifts) working 12-hour shifts
    • Must be comfortable with both day and night shift coverage
  • To be considered for the position, the candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working full-time as a Certified Nurse Midwife in an inpatient setting
Position Details 
  • Full specialty back-up including 24-hour perinatal and GYN/ONC services with dedicated OB anesthesia
  • Responsible for labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum
  • On-call OBGYNs and OB hospitalists are always available
  • On-site overnight room for provider
  • Hospital delivers ~9,000 babies per year, highest volume in the state of California!
  • Group delivers ~4,000 babies per year
  • Excellent labor and delivery nursing staff
  • Southern California’s largest level III NICU, plus advanced care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancy

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is committed to pay equity and transparency. Compensation is determined by a structured pay scale based on years of experience and applicable certifications, with final placement within the range confirmed during the recruitment process. The annual base salary range for a full-time position at 1.0FTE is $154,500.00-$216,537.30, with eligibility for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. A part-time contract/per diem position is non-benefitted and calculated at an hourly rate within the defined pay scale. This position is represented by UNAC/UHCP under applicable labor agreements.
