What the role is:
Join our team to create and offer world-class coworking and community
to Selina’s ecosystem of digital nomads, guests and locals all coming
together in one space.
As Account payable specialist you will be responsible for reconciling
account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger
and preparing month-end close procedures for US companies.
What you will be doing:
● Review and verify vendor statements, processing invoices and
purchase orders.
● Communicating with vendors, when necessary.
● Payment Processing, scheduling and preparing payments
● Paying sales tax on relevant invoices and keeping a record of tax
payments
● File and input data in accounting system and Month-End
Accruals.
● Maintaining and reconciling cash accounts and payable reports
● Intercompany review within/out the US
● Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in
accordance with company policy and accepted accounting
practices.
Conduct process and financial audits
What you need for the role:
● Accountant Degree
● Minimum, 2 years of experience
● Analysis capacity
● Ability to work under pressure
● Must have strong work ethics
● Must be well organized and a self-starter
● Detail oriented, professional attitude
● Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
● English language skills
