Description
Security Finance is hiring a Remote Senior Database Administrator! This position is remote with travel required on a quarterly basis.
As Senior Database Administrator, you can expect to:
· Analyze, assesse, evaluate, and forecast all company data and database requirements, changes, and adjustments · Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance rules, procedures and codes; ensuring availability, reliability, and quality · Establish and maintain necessary procedures, tools, processes, etc. to ensure adequate security and control over access to, and use of, company data · Provide second level technical support to all users of Company database through coordination with Software Development and Help Desk · Establish and maintain adequate database documentation; enabling planning, diagnostics, and efficient resource allocation and utilization · Resolve database performance, reliability, replication, capacity, and other distributed data architecture deficiencies · Design and implement database back-up and recovery methodologies · Provide direct support to other IS groups through management of data dictionary, scripts, and other related database management support services |
You could be a great addition as Senior Database Administrator,
· Travel to home office for quarterly meetings and special projects · 5 years of experience in Information Services · Replication Server and SQL Anywhere experience preferred · 3 years of DBA and/or Software Development experience preferred · MS SQL, or Sybase ASE experience required · 3 years of DBA and/or Software Development experience · Effective verbal and written communication skills · Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and project management skills · Management experience preferred · Computer literate with strong Excel |
