What you’ll be working on:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly business solutions. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies to streamline processes and enhance productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical development skills with business analysis capabilities to translate requirements into impactful solutions. This position reports to the Manager, Software Engineering
What you have:
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and SharePoint Online.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
- Optimize and automate business processes leveraging the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Graph API, Azure AD, and third-party systems where needed.
- Maintain and administer Power Platform environments, including security, permissions, and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing Tier 2/3 support for Power Platform solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor application performance and usage, implementing improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Support Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and testing.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint Online, Teams, and Microsoft 365 integration.
- Knowledge of Power Platform administration, Dataflows, and environment management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Azure AD, and connectors for integration.
- Ability to analyze workflows and optimize business processes using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with security and compliance within Microsoft 365.
- Experience developing custom connectors for Power Platform.
- Proficiency in JSON formatting for data manipulation and integration.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for web part development.
- Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
- Knowledge of solution architecture and best practices for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for Power Platform solutions.
- Microsoft PowerPlatform Certifications
Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience developing solutions on the Power Platform and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
