DC Test Technician (first shift)
Description

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour plus applicable bonuses and is commensurate with experience. - Assume ownership of assigned test systems, providing operational procedures to operators and carry out troubleshooting support as needed.
- Responsible for test station uptime and health (module calibration, repairs)
- Support operators with test-related questions and provide training when needed
- Ensure test station capability and qualification plans are executed and reported as modifications/upgrades are implemented.
- Support product production by troubleshooting, fixing and involving relevant departments.
- Assist engineering in development: Design of Experiments, troubleshooting tests, tester modification, data recording, etc.
- Drive audits, benchmarking and best practice methodologies to proactively prevent quality excursions as the technology ramps. Ensure proper operator testing and processing methods
- Engages in Quality Problems, investigating root cause related to process, tooling, components and driving corrective action(s).
- Involve Operation and/or Engineering, communicates with stakeholders on issues or updates.
- This position will involve hands-on cleanroom work to make real-time observations.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with development projects and volume manufacturing. Preferred experience on equipment and materials that are used in the semiconductor and photonics industries
- Strong ability to learn test methodology, failure analysis, debug, troubleshooting, etc.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organizational and tracking skills
- Experience with writing production documentation preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office required
- Ability to work directly with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
- Ability to work with delicate and small components, requiring care and precision.
- Must be able to work independently but will be required to interact with different departments to achieve objectives
- Candidates must have a willingness to learn statistics, process control and FMEA methodologies
- Willingness to learn basic Python and/or statical analysis is desirable.
- High School Diploma
- Technical degree in related field.
- On the job training as appropriate.
