Description 
RIVA Solutions Inc. is seeking a Drupal Technical Lead to manage a large, enterprise-wide website Drupal migration project. In this position the ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, oversight, and solutions for a team of digital service technologists responsible for providing technical innovation and quality for a large-scale digital communication program, primarily based on the Drupal platform.  You will manage web quality and performance goals for our customer. You will be responsible for managing the overall technical architecture and technical approach for web development, digital service delivery, and web content management as well as leading a defined approach for performance measurement and metrics tracking.     

Responsibilities:   

  • Lead a team of Drupal front- and back-end developers on a large-scale Drupal 10 implementation and migration project
  • Apply Acquia Cloud experience to Drupal cloud-based architectures using GitHub.
  • Apply industry standard best practices in platform design (web content management systems) and development on all the web projects with a focus-on data-driven continuous improvement 
  • Work with the Federal product team to identify the high priority features that need to be integrated into a minimally viable product (MVP), support the maintenance of a product backlog, and develop a product enhancement plan as required 
  • Ensure that product development happens in the most efficient way possible, leveraging opportunities for developing reusable code for functionality that might be shared between different projects 
  • Implement all security and compliance requirements, including Certification and Accreditation (C&A), 3ʳᵈ Party Web Service Assessments, and Privacy Impact Assessments 
  • Provide troubleshooting and enablement on a wide variety of technical and strategic topics, including Drupal/web development best practices, development operations, cloud hosting and 3rd party integrations.  

Requirements  

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or management information systems or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum Experience:  

Desired Qualifications  

  • 8+ of relevant technical experience 
  • 3+ years of experience managing large scale web deployments in Drupal 
  • 3+ years of experience providing technical expertise within Public Cloud environments (ie  Acquia Cloud) 
  • 3+ years of experience Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products and solutions,
  • The ideal candidate has a broad and deep background in Drupal and web development, significant LAMP stack knowledge, and an unwavering focus on the customer experience.  This is an optimal mix of technical and customer relationship skills 
  • Experience migrating websites from non-Drupal legacy systems (i.e. Kentico) to Drupal 9/10    
  • The candidate should also have a proven ability to listen, read between the lines, provide excellent customer service, and diagnose and solve problems efficiently for high-value customers.  
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban and Scrum) and industry-wide best practices to design, architect, administer and maintain user-oriented, accessible websites, and the systems  
  • Experience working with an integrated digital service delivery team comprised of engineers, user experience designers/researchers, and content strategists—all using Human Centered Design methods to improve the customer experience 
  • Experience with and knowledge of with US Web Design Standards, WCAG 2.1, 508 Compliancy  
  • Experience managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operation support

Desired Certifications  

  • Drupal or Acquia Certifications are a plus 

  

Salary Range: $100-$200k DOE
