Introduction  
As a Data Engineer, you'll be taking the lead in designing and maintaining complex data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, a strong understanding of data architecture principles, and a passion for building scalable, efficient, and robust data systems. Your experience will be instrumental in optimizing data processes, ensuring data quality, and driving data-driven decision-making within the organization. 
 
*Please note that this role may require working in a Hybrid capacity. Going into the clients office 2-3 days per week*
 
What you’ll be doing and the Impact You’ll Make:  
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and error handling. 
  • Collaborating with data analysts, data architects, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver relevant data sets (e.g., for business intelligence). 
  • Implementing data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive information. 
  • Automating and improving data processes and workflows for scalability and efficiency. 
  • Monitoring data infrastructure for performance and reliability to address issues promptly. 
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes to collect, process, and store data. 
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering. 
 What we’d love to see:
  • Develop/Maintain programs in SSIS/ Spark/ SQL Stored Procedures as part of ELT/ETL pipelines. 
  • Experience with BI Tools like Tableau. 
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries and data analysis. 
  • Knowledge of relational database management systems like SQL Server/Snowflake. 
  • Experience in programming languages like Java/Scala.
