Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in US. The ideal candidate will oversee and streamline the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and compliance with company policies. This role is critical in supporting our global operations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, approval workflows, and payment processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Review and analyze AP aging reports, ensuring timely payments and avoiding late fees.
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure proper documentation and approvals for purchases.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS) and support statutory audits as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, vendor management, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The total compensation (CTC) offered to employees comprises two key components, a fixed component, and a performance-based variable bonus.
- The fixed component represents the guaranteed portion of an employee’s compensation. It includes base salary and other fixed allowances as applicable.
- A performance-based variable bonus is an integral part of the overall compensation and is directly linked to both individual performance and overall company performance, as defined under the company’s policy.
