Sr. Quality Supervisor

Summary:
The Sr. Quality Supervisor supports project compliance within Construction Quality Plans (CQP) and Corporate Quality requirements, including QA processes, audits, QC inspections, team training and reporting quality issues to the HSQE Quality Leadership. The Sr Quality Supervisor possesses strong knowledge of the implementation of a Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs as well as management of Quality documents and creation of Quality Records on construction sites.
Requirements:
- Supports HSQE Quality Managers in the day-to-day Quality Management of multiple projects.
- Provides Quality Control Inspection training to Project Quality teams to ensure safety, competency, and compliance.
- Supports the rollout of new initiatives and implementation of processes.
- Assists project teams in the completion, preparation, implementation, and reporting on construction projects that includes:
- Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
- Construction Quality Plan (CQP)
- Project meetings, training, and processes required in the CQP.
- QC inspection forms and submittal process
- Verifies inspection requirements are met and performs sampling Quality Control checks on all work prior to handover to client.
- Works with Project teams to ensure QA processes are being implemented.

- Attends Weekly meetings as required.
- Supports HSQE Manager in the execution of Site Audits as required.
- Provides on-site support to projects experiencing Quality issues and to provide backfill in absence of site Quality Supervisor.
- Supports continuous improvement and career development of the Quality Department.
- Participates in management of the Non-Conformance Process and supports the completion of Root Cause Analysis.
- Operates Company vehicle to oversee site operations and for business travel.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Halts unsafe work immediately and reports safety issues to project leadership.
- Performs Production Quality Monitoring as required.
- Performs Safety Walks and Observations.
- Participates in hiring and selection processes as required.
Safety:
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.
- Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
- Receives job and task specific training prior to work commencing.
- Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
Qualifications:
- High school/GED and at least 1 year construction experience required.
- Associates Degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
- 5 or more years of Construction Industry Safety experience preferred.
- 3 or more years of Renewable Energy Safety Experience preferred.
- Emergency Medical Technician preferred.
- FA/CPR/AED preferred.
- CHST/CUSP/OHST/NCSO Certification preferred.
- ASP/GSP/SMS/CSP/CRSP preferred.
- OSHA 30/510 Certification required.
- OSHA 500 Certification preferred.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of QC inspection requirements relating to electrical, mechanical and civil activities in the construction of Utility Scale Solar.
- Foundational knowledge of ISO9001.
- ATI, NEXTracker and FTC racking systems.
- Advanced Communication Skills.
- Proven experience maintaining accurate records.
- Strong understanding of Industry Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate knowledge of Procore.
- Basic knowledge of P6 Scheduling.
- Proficiency of English language.
- Spanish as a 2nd language an asset.
- Functional competencies include attention to detail, ethics & integrity, accountability, communication and teamwork.
- Domestic and International travel 31-50% required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Anticipated base salary range: $89,000 - $105,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
