We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Pune.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Builds resilient, secure, and scalable UI/UX and APIs using the latest technologies  
  • Performs engineering activities for performance tuning and deep monitoring of applications and services  
  • Works with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of the system, determine the priority of work, and ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery  
  • Leverages DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment  
  • Collaborates with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies  
  • Is responsible for all aspects of SDLC of existing and new components
  • Will handle module development with minimal guidance
  • Must be able to write code by following SOLID principles
  • Has an eye for detail in writing bug-free code of the highest standards
  • Runs demos of the work being done
  • Will provide some guidance to junior team members as needed
  • Partner with Quality team to develop test automations

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent  
  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role  
  • Strong hands-on backend development skills: Java, JAX-RS, REST, JSON, Spring Boot , Spring Cloud
  • Must have proven work experience with complex data structures, multi-threading and concurrency, REST Api service development, Asynchronous programming design patterns
  • Exposure to identity management service and standards such as oAuth 2.0, Okta, and OpenID
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies including AWS Services
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and and PostGreSQL
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, GitLab, etc.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing  
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies  
  • Ability to work and thrive as part of a collaborative team  
  • Experience building software in a healthcare environment preferred
