Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, the Tax Manager role will focus primarily on European tax compliance, structure, planning and audits. The Manager will collaborate with other leaders in our UK and US offices as well as external tax advisors to ensure Company growth in a tax efficient manner and help the tax team in developing and training more junior staff members on the team.
 
What you will be working on:
Tax Compliance
  • Support relationship management with local tax authorities and consulting firms.
  • Manage efficiency of direct and indirect tax processes.
  • Review all documents submitted to the tax authorities.
  • Build up a comprehensive tax risk management system to ensure statutory tax compliance.
  • Proactively support more junior staff on the team.
Tax Structure
  • Support the European expansion of the Company.
  • Coordinate tax due diligence, implementation of post-acquisition processes and onboarding, coordination of third-party advisors, and assistance in tax structure planning.
  • Participate in transfer pricing discussions and monitor the correct implementation and documentation of those policies within the Company.
 
Other tasks
  • Multi-task and manage multiple work streams.
  • Assist with various projects and business growth initiatives as we move into new markets.
  • Assist with new global tax requirements implementation (Pillar II global minimum tax, e-invoicing, etc.).
  • Maintain knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations, while identifying and implementing necessary changes.
  • Create a strong tax pipeline of potential junior staff members, as necessary.
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Taxation or related field.
  • 8+ relevant work experience in tax compliance, ideally with different jurisdictions across Europe.
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Large corporate in-house tax experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required; Dutch or other European language skills a plus.
