About the Role
As a Strategy & Insights Sr. Associate, you will be at the forefront of innovation and efficiency. Your role will involve:
- Empowering Teams: Your actionable insights will empower our Credit, Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Predictive Analytics teams to mitigate risks such as credit issues and tenant defaults.
- Integrated Tenant Financial Solutions: Extract, synthesize, and maintain financials at corporate and property levels, ensuring data accuracy while providing analysis and quantitative insights for decision-makers.
- Financial Database Management: Manage our proprietary financial database with tools like S&P Capital IQ and proactively share emerging trends and data insights with team members.
- Collaboration: Collaborate across the department to gain a deep understanding of processes, positioning yourself as a go-to expert on the inner workings of the Strategy & Insights Department. Partnering to create in-depth documentation and process flow charts, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
- Technology Integration: Continuously explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, low-code development platforms and automation) to enhance business processes, drive efficiency and innovation.
- Reporting Requirements: Generating regular insights and reports that contribute to effective operational management, focusing on portfolio optimization, quarterly earnings, and investor updates.
- It is expected that to perform the duties of the position a qualified candidates will have bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6 or more years of analytical work experience in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Power BI, Alteryx, and Python experience nice to have.
- Attention to detail and work with minimal oversight.
- Thirst for learning new concepts.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities to convey technical solutions to non-technical audiences
- Excellent presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to large groups, senior management, and Board of Directors.
