What Would You Be Doing:
- Actively participate in and oversee the day-to-day HR operations activities for Latvia and other locations as and when required, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and industry best practices;
- Ensure smooth processes, effective and efficient communication across all departments;
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including visa applications and work permits, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding;
- Ensure payroll team is kept updated on any changes, assisting where necessary;
- Maintain HR policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and values as well as with local requirements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases;
- Assist with benefit administration and compliance with company benefit policies;
- Stay updated on HR industry trends and changes in labor laws to ensure; compliance and be a source of guidance to the HR team and Management.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate:
Essential
- Previous experience in similar roles with focus on HR operations of at least 2 years;
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations;
- Experience managing visa and work permit applications;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Latvian and English languages.
Desirable
- Practical knowledge of Jira, HiBob and similar softwares;
- Experience working in an international environment.
