Compensation:

New hires start between $84 466 and $112 621 based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market factors. While the full pay range is listed for this position for pay transparency, individual compensation is determined by various factors and may vary within the posted range.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Business Systems Analyst will apply understanding of business systems requirements, fundamentals and application systems support. This position serves as a collaborator for multiple business projects and support requests requiring specialized skills and breadth of expertise using a variety of tools supporting all Pioneer Human Services lines of business. Systems support includes but is not limited to ERP, property management software, financial software packages, manufacturing production level software and device software. This role is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders in conceptualizing business initiatives, identifying necessary data for systems, completing complex analyses, and interpreting and disseminating results to key audiences in a manner appropriate to each audience. This individual will also be involved with understanding the principles of data visualization, process optimization, requirements translation and helpdesk applications support concepts supporting the PHS IT Helpdesk unit with application and data systems expertise.

The Business Systems Analyst will work as part of a team, independently and with a cross-functional team within a larger organizational environment to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and executes relative IT help desk Service Requests and Incident Reports. The position supports senior level IT roles.

 

 

PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with subject matter experts and end users to validate business and data requirements
  • Works with the IT Helpdesk team supporting all business applications and end users
  • Leads customer service with end users for all business systems and processes
  • Supports business system projects for deployments, upgrades, new software systems and initiatives
  • Analyzes and normalizes relevant information related to business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning
  • Formulates validation strategies and methods to ensure accurate and reliable data
  • Maps data and reporting across the organization, through standard BSA formats and processes
  • Develops system end user procedures and documentation, develops and manages documentation updates and documentation lifecycles
  • Identifies, extracts, and scrubs data from legacy systems for migration into new solutions
  • Creates, tests, performs upgrade testing and execution for business systems
  • Extracts data from a variety of relational databases including SQL and manipulates and explores data using quantitative, statistical and visualization tools
  • Integrates data from various internal and external sources in order to provide data for analysis and/or reporting. Works with various reporting tools including but not limited to Crystal Reports, SSRS and SaaS proprietary reporting systems
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the data quality, working with the Client Systems, Database Technology and IT Applications team
  • Responsible for IT weekly, monthly and annual systems maintenance management
  • Performs other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED

  • (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, health informatics or business (or an additional four years of recent and relevant work experience may be considered)
  • Three or more years’ experience in business systems analysis or similar
  • Two years training or experience with SQL, SSRS, MS Visual Studio, or similar data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business service systems and the ability to operate complex computer business applications and systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in defining problems, requirements analysis, application tools selection and methods for standard reports and testing proof of concepts
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and supportive way with teams and colleagues from across the organization and interact comfortably with a wide range of individuals
