Compensation:

New hires for this position typically start between $111,706 and $148,941 annually, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you'll do
Manages and coordinates the activities of the Aerospace Estimators and Production Planners. Ensures profitability of new work accepted, proper risk management through product realization processes, optimal production quantities, and financial data integrity through the distribution and manufacturing modules in ERP. Establishes plans, processes and controls to maximize the company’s return on assets; manages product realization risk; implements pricing policy; manages the performance of the estimating and planning group. 

Reviews all Aerospace contracts terms and conditions from customers and collaborates with VP/COO to verify and approve language, pricing and lead times.   Works in conjunction with senior contracts personnel in order to maintain and develop any contractual documents PI needs in order to maintain proper business practices and protections to preserve business health.   Sales follow-ups with new and potential customers.   Supports Senior Operations Manager and Senior QA Manager in order to maintain best business practices.   Balances our mission in helping people while implementing effective business/personal growth practices.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (supply chain, engineering, finance, business administration or procurement) or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing production control setting in lieu of educational requirement.
  • 5+ years related experience in a metal fabrication environment
  • Extensive understanding of ERP with ability to translate knowledge into a learnable format
  • Expert knowledge and practical experience as an aerospace estimator
  • Completion of engineering classes or knowledge of part production
  • 3+ years progressive leadership experience in managing a team

 

Preferably you'll bring

  • Experience in Job Cost Analysis
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business or quality programs
